Player Development

Our Player Development programme at HPM is meticulously crafted to nurture young talents, focusing on enhancing their ball skills, physical attributes, and overall game understanding. Led by UEFA licensed coach Kev Green, our program is structured to provide comprehensive training that caters to the developmental needs of young players.

The programme runs throughout the year, offering a series of progressive training modules that cover essential aspects of football. These modules include technical drills, tactical awareness, physical conditioning, and mental resilience. Each session is carefully planned to ensure a balanced development, allowing players to excel in all areas of the game.

Our experienced coaches, all FA qualified and DBS checked, use a player-centered approach, tailoring exercises to the individual needs of each participant. This personalised attention helps in identifying strengths and areas for improvement, enabling targeted development.

Safety and safeguarding are integral parts of our training ethos, ensuring a secure environment for all players.

The Player Development programme also emphasises the importance of academic and personal growth. Through our collaboration with mindset coach Dan Abrahams, we incorporate mindset training sessions that focus on building a strong, positive mindset. This holistic approach ensures that our players are well-equipped to handle the pressures of the game and life.
